GAS BOILER INSTALLATION
Gas Boiler Installation
High efficiency gas boilers to suit every home and budget
Deciding to get your heating system upgraded or even just swapping out an old boiler for a new high efficiency gas boiler can be a big decision. Aside from the obvious cost implications, there is the potential disruption during installation, not to mention the technicalities of choosing which boiler will be a good solution for your home.
Practical, tailored solutions
At Fired Up Heating we work hard to provide customers with practical solutions that will be both cost effective and right for your home. We do this by conducting a comprehensive assessment of what your home needs and providing an estimate that is tailored specifically to those requirements.
Quality products for peace of mind
Your boiler is one of the hardest working appliances in your home. It needs to be able to provide you with the heating and hot water you need 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
It is for that reason that we fit Worcester-Bosch boilers. Not only have they been recommended by Which? for the last 10 years, but their level of service and the guarantees offered on every new boiler installation is exceptional.
And with a boiler to suit every home and budget the Worcester range offers an excellent level of choice.
Things we're often asked about
Boilers can be expensive to replace which is why we only fit high-quality boilers that carry good manufacturer’s guarantees and have an excellent track record for their performance and efficiency.
The full cost of getting a new boiler fitted can vary and largely depends on whether additional works are required, for example if a system boiler is being replaced by a combi boiler or if the gas pipework needs upgrading to accommodate a higher powered boiler.
To help plan for the cost of having a new boiler fitted we’ll visit your home to do a comprehensive assessment of what will be required and send an estimate outlining the costs and works to be undertaken.
For most homes we suggest fitting Worcester-Bosch gas boilers as they have been recommended by Which? for the last ten years, and with a growing range of boilers there is something to suit every budget.
Having a new boiler fitted will cause some disruption but the extent of this will depend on the level or works being carried out alongside it. For example, if you are having a whole new heating system fitted with new radiators this will be more work than simply swapping an old combi out with a new one.
But for every job we try to keep disruption to a minimum and leave your home clean and tidy. Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do which is why we treat our customers’ homes as if they are our own.
Planning for a replacement boiler is always preferable as it will give you the chance to budget and save for it, as well as schedule the works for warmer months when being without heating for a day or two will be less of an inconvenience.
But it’s not always possible to do this. And often when boilers breakdown it’s when they are being worked their hardest during the winter.
Choosing which boiler to get installed may seem daunting but we’re here to help make sure you get a boiler that’s right for you home. When you make an enquiry, we’ll book an appointment to visit your home and assess what would work best for you. And if necessary, we can provide you with a couple of different options.
The boilers we recommend for our customers are Worcester-Bosch. That’s because not only are they high quality boilers which come with good manufacturer’s guarantees, but as a company Worcester provides excellent customer service and technical support. Their range of boilers also span a variety of price points meaning there is something for every budget.
A system boiler (or conventional boiler) is much like a heat only boiler. Hot water is produced and stored in a dedicated hot water tank often found in an airing cupboard. The issue with system boilers is that they take up more space because of the additional storage required. Plus, once the hot water is gone, that’s it, it’s gone until more can be heated and stored.
The benefit to having a combi boiler installed is that eliminates the need for a hot water cylinder as hot water is no longer stored. Instead, when the hot tap is turned on the boiler fires up and heats the water on demand.
If you’re considering switching to a combi boiler we can provide advice and guidnace on the best approach to this during your home assessment.
